The hand-painted finish has that lovely mottled quality up close, so the scarlet arrows look almost textured rather than flat. It's a small 18cm shade, but the pattern gives it far more presence than I expected in our hallway. Definitely glad I went with this one.

The scarlet arrows pattern is even more striking in person, with the hand-painted details giving it real depth. It casts such a warm, moody light through the shade that my whole reading nook feels cozier now.

I was a bit worried the shade would look too busy, but the hand-painted arrows have a lovely matte finish that really makes the scarlet pop. It hangs beautifully in my reading nook, and I love how the light filters through those tiny paint imperfections.
