The magnetic faceplate snaps off so easily, which made hooking up the wires way less awkward than I expected. App setup recognized it immediately, and now I can kill the power to my lamps from bed without getting up—it’s just nice having that control.

Wiring it up took me a few minutes, but once it was connected, the ability to flip the power on from my phone while I'm across town has been a genuine lifesaver for forgetting the curling iron. The magnesium finish also didn't show fingerprints like my old plastic outlet did, which is a nice bonus.

The magnesium finish matches my modern wall plates perfectly, and the app lets me toggle the outlet from anywhere which is exactly what I needed for my porch lights. Setup took a bit longer than I hoped, but once it was connected it's been rock solid.
