Birch Peel & Stick Veneer Edge Banding

I’d been dreading the edge banding step on my latest cabinet build, but this peel-and-stick version went on flawlessly with no bubbling. The veneer is thin enough to trim cleanly with a utility knife, and the birch grain matches my plywood perfectly.

I used this to finish the exposed plywood edges on a set of shop shelves and the birch grain matched so closely you can barely tell where the banding starts. Trimming the overhang with a sharp chisel took a few extra minutes, but it was worth it for the clean look.
