The tortoise-patterned handle is even more charming in person, and it cracks open caps with barely any effort. It’s got that sturdy, bistro-inspired feel that makes you want to keep it out on the counter, not buried in a drawer.
The weight is perfect—solid enough to feel sturdy but not clunky, and the tortoise handle adds a touch of bistro charm that makes it a nice little conversation piece on the counter. It’s opened every bottle I’ve thrown at it without a hitch, even the stubborn ones.
The tortoise-patterned handle feels wonderfully solid in my hand, and it’s become my go-to for Sunday aperitifs. Even after a dozen bottles, the grip stays comfortable and the cap pops off with a satisfying click. It’s a small tool, but it makes the ritual feel special.
