Bonnie Raitt, NYC, 1979

You can almost feel the late-70s energy radiating off this portrait; the way Goldsmith captured Raitt mid-emergence is pure magic. It’s hung in my hallway and every guest stops to ask about it.

The grain and shadow in this print give it that real 1979 feel, like you're flipping through a magazine from the era. Lynn Goldsmith really captured the grit and the grace of Raitt right before she blew up, and the gallery-quality paper makes it pop on my wall.

The warmth in her expression comes through so vividly in this print — you can almost feel the energy of that 1979 NYC show. Lynn Goldsmith really captured something timeless here. It's already the centerpiece of my music room.
