Dolly Parton, New York City, 1977

The contrast in this 1977 black-and-white portrait is stunning—her confident expression feels like it's frozen right in that New York moment. The print quality from the Morrison Hotel Gallery collection really does justice to the classic composition.

The contrast in this black-and-white print is stunning, really capturing the confidence in her expression from that 1977 New York shoot. I’ve had it framed and it instantly became the focal point of my living room.

I love how the photograph captures Dolly's confident expression from that era, and the print quality is sharp with nice depth in the black-and-white tones. Only wish the paper had a slightly matte finish instead of glossy.
