Grand Funk Railroad, 1973

The grain and shadow in this shot make the band feel like they're right in the room with you, totally raw and alive. Lynn Goldsmith really captured that 1973 energy perfectly, and the print quality does it justice.

Ordered this as a gift for my dad who's a longtime Grand Funk fan, and the Lynn Goldsmith shot of the band from '73 really captures that raw era. Only gripe is the frame arrived with a small scuff on the corner, though the photo itself looks sharp.

The print quality is excellent, and the grain in the black-and-white really makes that 1973 concert feel immediate. I only wish the listing included a bit more detail about the band’s lineup that night, but it’s a solid addition to my music wall.
