The opening is a beautiful burst of green herbs and fig leaf, very fresh without being sharp. The myrtle gives it a unique Mediterranean character that lasts for hours on my skin.

I was worried madrona would read too sharp, but it's the green herbs that soften everything into something almost Mediterranean. Two sprays on my wrist lasted a full workday, which is rare for a woods fragrance. Myrtle keeps it from turning sweet, and I keep catching my own sleeve.

The fig leaf and myrtle come through right away, green and a little bitter, then it settles into this warm woody thing on my skin. Lasted a solid eight hours on me, which I didn't expect from something so green. Worth every penny.
