جيري غارسيا، حديقة غولدن غيت، 2 سبتمبر 1974

I’ve had this print up for a week and keep noticing new details in Garcia’s expression, like the way his fingers rest on the guitar strings. The matte finish on the paper really suits the black-and-white era vibe. A solid piece of music history for any fan.

The way the light falls across the stage in this shot really captures the laid-back energy of that September afternoon. The print’s detail is sharp enough to see the wear on his guitar strings, which I love. It’s going right up in my living room.

That specific 1974 Golden Gate Park show is one of my favorites, and this print captures the laid-back energy perfectly. The black-and-white tones really bring out the texture of his guitar and the California light. It's a great piece of Dead history for the wall.
