Johnny Rotten, Sex Pistols, 1978

This print captures the raw energy of that Dallas show perfectly — you can almost feel the sweat and chaos of the Longhorn Ballroom. The contrast is sharp, bringing out every snarl on Johnny's face. It's already the centerpiece of my music room.

The grain of this 1978 Dallas shot is so raw it feels like you’re standing in the Longhorn Ballroom with the crowd. Captured that one-off US tour energy perfectly. Frame arrived clean, and the matting makes the black and white pop.

The texture of the photo paper really makes the gritty vibe of this shot pop—you can almost feel the sweat from that Longhorn Ballroom show. I’ve been looking for a piece that captures that raw punk energy, and this grain-heavy print nails it.
