جوني ميتشل، فارم إيد، شامبين، إلينوي، 1985

The grain of the film gives her expression a timeless, almost painterly quality. You can really feel the weight of the moment in that quiet, off-stage pose.

The candid moment of her looking off mid-song is what sold me, not a posed stage shot. Printed on matte paper, the contrast holds up well even in a dim hallway. Hung it next to my turntable and it's easily my favorite piece now.

The black-and-white grain gives it that unmistakable 1985 concert feel. I framed it next to my record shelf and the candid, lost-in-thought expression pulls me in every time I walk past.
