KISS, Paul Stanley, 1977

Lynn Goldsmith really captured the raw energy of Paul Stanley right at the peak of the band's 1977 era; the way the light hits his face makes it feel like you're standing right there in the studio. It's a centerpiece in my living room and every guest stops to ask about it.

The grain in the silver gelatin print gives Paul's stage makeup an almost three-dimensional depth that jumps off the wall. I've had it framed for a week and keep finding new details in his expression each time I walk past.
