The merino wool is noticeably softer than the acrylic bows I've bought before, and the hand-dyed color has a nice depth you don't get from machine-dyed stuff. Wore it on the right side of a low bun all day and it never shifted.

The alligator clip actually stays put in my fine hair, which never happens with bows this size. The hand-dyed merino has this subtle color variation that looks way richer in person than in the photos.

The merino is so soft it doesn't itch behind my ear at all, which is usually my problem with wool bows. The alligator clip holds tight through a whole day of chasing my toddler around.
