The black oak finish is what sold me, and in person the grain looks even better. The armrests sit at just the right height for resting my elbows while I knit, which honestly I didn't expect from a chair this sculptural.

Sat in this for a three hour reading session and my lower back never once complained, which says a lot for a chair this sculptural. The angled seat and that curved backrest just sort of catch you right where you need it. Only wish I'd bought it sooner.
