Took these out on a week of wet, rocky trails and the leather held up without a single crack or soak-through. The 10" height gave my ankles solid support on uneven ground, and they were comfortable right out of the box. These are built to take a beating, plain and simple.

The leather on these boots broke in perfectly after just a few long walks, and the ankle support felt solid even on loose, rocky ground. They've already seen mud, rain, and a bit of snow, and the waterproofing hasn't let a drop through. Exactly what I needed for serious outdoor work.

Wore these through three days of heavy rain and mud on a ridge walk and my feet stayed completely dry the whole time. The leather is stiff at first but breaks in nicely, and the grip on wet rock felt seriously secure.
