The moment I mounted it on the brick wall outside, the shade’s solid, handcrafted weight felt reassuringly sturdy. It casts a warm, focused glow that makes the entryway feel properly nautical without being kitschy.

The handcrafted feel really comes through in the casting—up close you can see the quality of the finish. We put ours in the hallway and the warm glow it throws off makes the space feel much more inviting.

Installed this on our porch and the robust cast body feels like it’ll outlast the house. The light throws a warm, steady glow that makes the entryway feel properly nautical, and I keep catching myself admiring the handcrafted details at dusk.
