The smaller size is perfect for day trips where I don't want to haul my big bag, and the retro style gets compliments every time. Shoulder straps are comfy even when I stuff it full for a picnic.
I was a little nervous it'd feel flimsy since it's the smaller version, but the canvas is sturdy and the top cinch closes just right for a day bag. It fits my 13-inch laptop, a water bottle, and a light jacket without looking bulky. The retro vibe is spot on without being try-hard.
The retro stitching and that classic top pocket bring back major high school vibes, but the size is way more practical for a day trip than the original. Fits my 13-inch laptop and a water bottle without bulking up my shoulders, and the fabric feels sturdy enough to throw around. Glad I sprang for it
