The layered petals on this rose are so delicate that it almost looks painted on rather than a tattoo. I placed it on my ankle and it curves perfectly with the bone without any distortion.
The petals have this soft, layered look that really does unfold gradually, just like the description said. Put it on my ankle and it's small enough to feel subtle but still catches your eye in the right light. Healing was smooth and the lines stayed crisp.
Got this for my ankle and the size is just right for a small, subtle spot. The rose reads more like a soft sketch than a bold flower, which is what I wanted, though it took a day or two to settle in nicely.
