I've knit a lot of blankets that turned into a slog, but the 4-row repeat on this one kept me from having to check the pattern every few minutes. Only knit and purl stitches, so it's genuinely mindless TV knitting. The chunky weight means it actually grows fast enough to stay motivating.

The seed stitch border gives it such a clean finish that I barely had to block it. The 4-row repeat was easy enough to memorize by the second evening, so it flew off the needles.

Knitting this in one piece meant way fewer seams to sew up at the end, which I appreciated. The four-row repeat is simple enough to memorize after a couple passes, and the chunky yarn makes it move fast. Cozy result without much fuss.
