The cord arrived ready to weave, no soaking or prep needed, which saved me a whole evening on my first stool project. It has that classic natural fiber look and feels sturdy enough to handle daily use.

Re-caned my grandfather's oak chair with this and the cord takes tension beautifully without fraying. It's dry and ready to weave right out of the bundle, no soaking needed. Seat feels solid and should hold up for years.

The cord has a nice, tight twist that lays flat while you work, and it's definitely durable once woven. Took a bit of patience to get the tension even on my chair seat, but the natural look was worth it.
