Victorian McGee's Mock Turtle دمية محشوة فخمة

I was a little nervous about the stitching on the shell, but it's incredibly sturdy and the fabric has that old-fashioned, bookish feel to it. He sits perfectly on my shelf next to my Alice collection, and the sad little face is somehow more endearing in person.

The stitching around his little shell and the Victorian-style bow are so neat and detailed, it feels like he belongs in a vintage toy shop. He’s the perfect size to cuddle while reading, and the fabric is soft without being slippery. I’ve already got him perched on my bookshelf, and he makes me smil

The embroidered face has so much character, it genuinely looks like it hopped right out of a storybook. I've had it on my shelf for a week and keep picking it up just to admire the little stitched details.
