Tried this on a charter trip down in the Gulf and it held up impressively after multiple redfish; the hook kept its sharpness even after a few hard strikes. Fish seemed to key in on the minnow profile during a mid-afternoon change in light.

Tied this on during a slow outgoing tide and the first cast got hammered by a schoolie striper—the way it tracks through cold water really surprised me. I've kept it in my box through both chilly spring mornings and warm summer evenings, and it hasn't lost its shape or action yet.

This little fly has been an absolute killer on the stripers lately. The fact that it’s designed to work in both cold and warm water means I don’t have to switch patterns when the tide changes, and it’s held up well against some aggressive takes.
