Washed these before the first use and they came out of the dryer softer than the old cotton set I'd had for years. The linen blend keeps them from feeling stiff, and the white stays crisp without any ironing.

I was worried the linen blend would feel scratchy but these are actually soft straight out of the package, no washing needed first. The white is a true bright white, not that yellowish cream I've gotten before, and they fit my standard pillows without any tugging.

The ruffle trim is what sold me and it looks even prettier in person, not stiff or cheap like I worried. The linen cotton blend stays cool at night, which is exactly what I wanted for summer.
