The enamel surface wiped clean with just a warm cloth, even after a sticky fruit filling bubbled over the rim. It's roomy enough that a full batch of sliced apples piled in without spilling, and it went straight from oven to table looking good.
Baked an apple pie in this last weekend and the enamel heated evenly, no soggy bottom at all. The rim is nice and deep so my filling didn't bubble over, and it wiped clean with just a soak. Feeds a crowd, which is exactly what I needed.
