Blue Safari Fly Fishing

The guides read the tides and currents perfectly, and even as a novice I was casting with confidence by the second hour. We landed a bonefish on the flats that I'll be talking about for years, and the Orvis-endorsed gear they provided handled everything smoothly.

The wading through the mangroves to reach the flats was worth every step—the water was so clear I could see the bonefish before I even made my first cast. As a seasoned angler, I appreciated how the guide read the conditions and put us right on the fish without any wasted time.

Took the half-day trip with zero fly fishing experience, and the guide had me casting within the first twenty minutes. The water around Mahé was calm and clear enough to spot the fish before they struck. Only wish the trip had been a bit longer for the price.
