Ano, klasický havajský západ slunce – ale tento večer nebyl žádná legrace. Měl jsem zpoždění po focení v lese, a když jsem mířil k pobřeží, cítil jsem, že se schyluje k velké bouři. Když jsem běžel dolů ke břehu, vířící obloha nade mnou mě ohromila. Použil jsem širokoúhlý objektiv, abych zachytil to 'víření' – fluorescenční barvy vytvořily epických pár sekund, když jsem zmáčkl spoušť.

I hung this above my desk and the storm clouds against that Hawai'ian sunset look almost three-dimensional. The print quality holds up even up close, no blurring or washed-out edges.

The colors in this print are deeper and moodier than I expected for a sunset shot — that storm brewing in the background really comes through. It's a bit darker on my wall than it looked on screen, but honestly it works.
