Grateful Dead, Velké pyramidy, Gíza, Egypt, 1978.

I hung this above my turntable and the pyramids looming behind the band look almost unreal in black and white. The print quality holds up close, you can pick out every figure on stage.

The black-and-white grain gives the whole pyramid backdrop this hazy, timeless feel that color never could. Hung it above my turntable and it's easily the best piece of wall art I own.

Didn't expect a 1978 concert photo to look this sharp, but the black-and-white print holds up beautifully on my wall. You can actually make out the band members against the pyramids in the background, which is wild for a live shot from that era.
