Bought this for my daughter's first day of school and it actually stayed put through recess. The acetate has a nice weight to it, not flimsy plastic like the drugstore ones. Two inches is the perfect size for her thick hair.

I have fine hair and clips usually slide right out, but this one actually stays put through a whole workday. The little wink face is subtle in person, and at 2 inches it holds a decent chunk of hair without feeling bulky.
