The edge held up through a full afternoon of smoothing oak without any chattering, and the consistent grind out of the box meant I didn't have to fiddle with the bevel. Fits the 3 1/2" plane perfectly, no wobble at all.
Took these out of the box and they were hair-popping sharp right away, which saved me the usual honing session. The edge held up through a full afternoon of planing oak without any chipping, and the fit in my plane was snug with zero play. Definitely getting a second one for my other bench plane.
Fitted perfectly to my 3 1/2" plane with zero slop, and the precision-milled edge came already sharp enough to shave with. I was honestly surprised how consistent the cut stayed across a few stubborn boards of oak.
