The hand-dyed merino is so soft and the colors have this subtle variation that you just don't get with synthetic bows. The alligator clip grips my fine hair without slipping, and it sits right where I want it. Genuinely impressed by the knitting, you can tell it's hand-made.
The hand-dyed merino is so soft you forget it's wool. I clipped it on the right side of my hair and the alligator clip actually stays put all day, which never happens with my other bows.
The 3.5 by 5.75 inch size is bigger than I pictured, so it drapes nicely on one side instead of looking stiff. The alligator clip holds tight on my fine hair, though I do wish the bow sat a touch flatter against my head.
