The stretchy fabric grips the tube tight enough that it doesn't slide out, even after weeks of getting tossed around in my bag. I've stopped digging through my purse for lip balm since it's always right there on my keys now.
Clipped this to my keys about a month ago and my lip balm finally stays put in my bag instead of rolling around loose. The woven fabric grip holds a standard tube tight without stretching out, and it's small enough that I forget it's on the ring.
The stretchy fabric hugs my lip balm so tight it doesn't budge, even after weeks of banging around in my bag. I've stopped digging through my purse every five minutes looking for it.
