Olejovaná dubová dýha je tenká vrstva dubového dřeva ošetřená olejovou úpravou, která vykazuje stejnou barvu a charakteristickou kresbu jako masivní dřevo. Olejová úprava zvýrazňuje a chrání tyto přirozené vlastnosti, zdůrazňuje hloubku a krásu dřeva a dodává mu teplý, přirozený lesk.
Wasn't sure about veneer over solid oak at first, but once it was installed you genuinely can't tell the difference. The oil finish soaks in rather than sitting on top like a lacquer, so it still feels like real wood under your hand.
The oil finish gives the oak a warmth that raw veneer just doesn't have. I used it on a small side table and the color stayed even across the whole panel without any blotchy patches.
The grain pattern really pops under the oil, and the color is consistent across every panel I unboxed.
