The olive green color is exactly what I wanted for my bathroom, muted and not too bright. They soak up water fast and don't leave that damp smell after a couple of days hanging up.
These actually get softer with each wash, which I wasn't expecting from Egyptian cotton. The olive green is deeper in person than the photos, and it hasn't faded after a month of daily use.
These Egyptian cotton towels are noticeably thicker than my old set and soak up water in one pass instead of two. The olive green has held its color after five or six washes, no fading yet. My only gripe is they take a while to dry on the line.
