The stretch fabric grips the tube tight so it doesn't slide out, even when my keys are jangling around in my bag. I clipped it to my carabiner and haven't lost a lip balm since.
Clipped this to my keys and my lip balm hasn't fallen out once in two weeks. The woven fabric has a bit of give so it's easy to slide the tube in and out. Wish the clip swiveled, but otherwise it does the job.
