Swapped the E27 base into a lamp I've had for years and it connected to my Wi-Fi on the first try. Being able to pick between E27 and GU10 meant I didn't have to replace fixtures in two different rooms.
I grabbed the GU10 version for my kitchen spotlights and they dropped right into the existing fittings without any adapter fuss. Pairing to Wi-Fi took a minute and now the whole group dims from my phone, which is exactly what I wanted.
Swapped my old fixed-white bulbs for the E27 version and the warm dimming actually looks natural, not that fake orange glow. Setup took maybe two minutes on my phone. Only thing is there's no physical switch on the bulb itself, but I control everything from the app anyway.
