Vaquero bandana

Soaked it for about a minute and tied it around my pup’s neck before a hot afternoon hike — she actually started panting less within ten minutes, and the photo of her wearing it at the summit is adorable.

My dog actually slowed down on our last hike for the first time—the soak-and-tie method is so simple it feels like cheating, and the bandana stayed put even when he shook himself dry.

Soaked it for a few minutes and tied it around my pup’s neck before a hot afternoon hike — she was noticeably less panty on the way back down. The fabric held the coolness for a good while, and the tie stayed put even when she shook. Great little extra for summit days.
