20 cm empire-skærm i hot pink striber, håndmalet karton

The hot pink stripes are even bolder and more playful in person, and I love how the slight unevenness in the hand-painting makes it feel like a real piece of art rather than something mass-produced. It casts a lovely warm glow in my reading nook.

I was a little nervous about the paint looking uneven, but up close the hand-painted stripes give it a charming, artisan feel that plain fabric shades just don't have. It casts a lovely warm glow in my reading corner, and the 20cm size is perfect for my bedside lamp.

The mottled paint effect is exactly what I hoped for—each stripe has its own little character that makes it feel handmade. It softens the light beautifully in my reading nook, adding a playful pop of color without being overwhelming.
