40 cm lige empireskærm i oceansting, håndmalet karton

I was a bit worried the mottled look might be too busy, but in person the slightly uneven paint strokes give it a charming, handcrafted feel. The 40cm size is perfect for my reading nook, casting a warm, soft light without being overpowering. This shade really makes the room feel special.

The hand-painted ocean stitch pattern catches the light so differently depending on the room, and that slightly mottled finish gives it a warmth you just don't get from mass-produced lampshades. It's been up on my floor lamp for two weeks now and I still catch myself staring at it.

The blue mottled effect is exactly what I hoped for, and it casts a lovely soft light in the living room. The hand-painted finish makes it feel like a real art piece rather than just a lampshade.
