I’ve swapped it into marinades and stir-fries twice this week, and it’s got that gentle sweetness that soya sauce never gives. Being naturally gluten-free puts my mind at ease, and the sea salt really rounds out the flavor without it tasting heavy.
The balance of sweet and salty is spot on—it’s got a lighter, almost fruity finish that soya sauce never had. I’ve been using it on stir-fries and even as a dip, and it’s become my pantry staple for sure.
I was skeptical about swapping out soy sauce, but this has won me over completely. The sweetness from the coconut sap comes through nicely and balances the sea salt, and it’s been perfect for stir-fries and marinades. Being gluten and soy free is a huge bonus since my wife is sensitive to both.
