Enkel Waste Bin - 5 Gallon

The powder-coated carbon steel feels really solid and sturdy, not flimsy like some other bins I've tried. It's the right size for my kitchen counter and looks clean without being an eyesore.

The oval shape tucks perfectly into the narrow gap between my desk and the wall, which no round bin ever did. The powder-coated steel feels sturdy but the lid lifts off quietly, so it doesn't clang when I empty it.

The powder-coated finish wipes clean with just a damp cloth, no streaks. I've got it next to my desk for paper scraps and it holds way more than I expected for 5 gallons. Genuinely the simplest thing in my apartment and I mean that as a compliment.
