This is what I imagine an old sailor’s coat smells like after a storm—the seawood and tobacco ground it perfectly. It’s a leather-forward smoke that shifts on the skin all day, and the black pepper keeps it from feeling heavy.

The birch tar and black pepper hit first—sharp and smoky, like a bonfire by the sea—then the citrus cuts through just enough to keep it wearable. I sprayed it on a scarf two days ago and can still smell that leather-tinged wood on it, which is exactly the staying power I wanted.
