The LED light is surprisingly bright and casts a nice even glow, which makes applying makeup in dim lighting so much easier. I love that the mirror stands sturdy on its base and the design feels whimsical without being childish.

The button to turn the LED on is cute but a bit stiff, takes a couple presses to actually click. The standing base works fine on my dresser, though the mirror itself feels lighter and more plasticky than I expected for the price.
