I bought the Oxford pair specifically because I wanted that extra border, and it makes the bed look a bit more put together than plain cases. The fabric has softened with each wash without going thin, so the 600 count seems legit.

The 600 thread count cotton feels noticeably denser than the 300 count cases I had before, and the dobby stripe adds a subtle texture without looking busy. The Oxford flap keeps my down pillow tucked in all night, which was the main reason I switched.

Washed these before the first use and they came out of the dryer without a single wrinkle, which I wasn't expecting from 600 thread count cotton. The Oxford flap keeps my pillow tucked in nicely instead of poking out the end. Genuinely the softest pillowcases I've owned.
