Ziggy Larven og dens Æble (Hæklet)

My toddler carries this crochet caterpillar and apple around for storytime every single day, and the pattern’s detail really brings them to life. The clear step-by-step illustrations made the whole project feel doable even for me as a beginner.

The leaf shading instructions alone are worth the price—my caterpillar actually looks like it could crawl right off the hook. The finished apple and little guy sparked a whole hour of storytelling with my niece, exactly what I hoped for.

The stitch-by-stitch photos made the apple’s curves and the caterpillar’s segments come together without a single guess, and my daughter immediately used the finished pair to act out a story about a hungry bug. It’s the kind of pattern that makes you look like a crochet genius.
