The matte black finish looks way more expensive than it costs, and the half-bubble shade throws a surprisingly warm glow for something this small. I keep it on my nightstand and it runs for hours after a full charge.

The cordless design is handy for moving it from my desk to the dinner table, and the dimmable glow is warmer than I expected. Only gripe is the charge doesn't last as long as I'd like on the brightest setting.
