The alligator clip feels secure even on my fine hair, which is usually a struggle. The hand-dyed merino has such a rich, subtle color variation that it looks custom-made for my coat.

The merino is so soft it doesn't itch my scalp at all, which is rare for wool. I've been clipping it near the back of my ponytail and the 3.5" size feels just right without being fussy.

The alligator clip actually holds onto fine hair without sliding, which is rare for a bow this size. I wore the Loire style to a wedding and got three compliments before dinner even started.
