Massives Walnussholz, geölt

The oiled finish on this walnut is what sold me — it feels smooth without that waxy film cheaper veneers have, and the grain still shows through clearly. Two months in, a spilled glass of water wiped right off with no ring left behind.

I've had this walnut on my dining table for six months now and the oiled surface has warmed up beautifully with a soft sheen instead of looking glossy. Wiping it down with a damp cloth is all it takes, and small scratches from daily use seem to disappear on their own.

The oiled finish on this walnut feels almost buttery compared to the lacquered stuff I've owned before, and it hasn't dried out or gone dull after months of daily use. Grain patterns vary piece to piece, which I actually like.
