Rübensuppenteller

I was a bit skeptical about how well the soup plate would hold up in the dishwasher, but after several cycles the pattern still looks crisp and bright. The only tiny gripe is that the rim feels slightly thinner than I'd like for such a sturdy-looking piece.

The turnip design is charming and the glazing feels smooth, no rough edges on the rim. Only small thing is it's a bit pricey for one soup plate, but it's held up fine through the dishwasher so far.

The plate is heavier than I expected in a good way, and the turnip illustration at the center is sweet without being cutesy. Only wish the rim were a touch wider for catching drips, but it holds a full bowl of soup fine.
