The 70+ step photos made the trickier parts, like shaping the flippers and tusks, so much easier to follow. My first attempt actually looked like a walrus, which never happens for me with amigurumi.
I've crocheted a few loveys before and the schematics in this one are what sold me — so much easier to follow than rows of text. The English US terms matched what I already know, and it worked up in an evening.
The 70+ step-by-step photos made the trickier parts of the snout so much easier to follow than the text alone would have been. Finished it in two evenings and it came out looking just like the listing photos.
