Ryan X. ★★★★★

The drag click is just loud enough to hear over a running fish, and the anodized finish has held up perfectly after a season of saltwater trips. Loaded it with backing and a 5-weight line, and it balances my rod like a dream.

Henry ★★★★★

Paired this with my 3-weight on a small brook trout stream and it balances beautifully without feeling heavy. The click-and-pawl tension is light enough for tiny dries but still lets me palm the rim when a fish makes a run.

Leo D. ★★★★★

Pairing this with my 4-weight on small creeks has been a joy, and the pawl gives just enough resistance on a light tippet. It's lighter than I expected for a metal reel, and the finish has held up after a season of bouncing around in my vest.
